We see Jesus Christ radically transforming individuals, families, communities and cultures within a growing family church.
Chilliwack Native Pentecostal Church, as a part of the Body of Christ, exists to make disciples of all nations through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Our commitment is to introduce Aboriginal peoples to the Creator's Son, Jesus Christ, as their personal Lord and Saviour. Our responsibility is to encourage believers to be more like Christ and to equip them to do the work of the ministry.
The vision for a Native church started in the early 1980s, shortly after Pastor Gary & Pastor
Patti Victor became Christians. They began with outreach services in various community halls on
different reservations throughout Sto:lo Nation.
Pastor Gary & Pastor Patti Victor started Chilliwack Native Pentecostal Church on February 25, 1996. At that time they rented the old Baptist church on Wellington Avenue. The church started with two pastors, a piano player, and a vision to reach Sto:lo Nation for Christ.
God has been faithful and added to the church and ministry team. Over the years, we have had missionaries from Korea and Norway to assist in reaching and loving the First Nations communities in the Chilliwack area. In 2003, Pastor Andrew & Pastor Melanie Victor joined the pastoral team.
We look forward to seeing God continue to transform our First Nations communities.
